I have something to tell you – a few weeks ago, I was contacted by ITV (one of the two main television broadcasting companies in the UK) and asked if I wanted to audition for a new cookery television series – Britain’s Best Dish.

I thought about it – I don’t really want huge amounts of publicity – even minor celebs have a difficult time – but then I decided I’d have a go.

I’ve got an audition on Saturday 19th May at 2 pm – I’m submitting my favourite Monkfish dish
